A 28-Day Writing Practice for Quieting the Mind

What would happen if you simply allowed the mind to empty itself?
Beginning March 18th — the New Moon in Pisces, I invite you to join me in a simple yet powerful 28-day writing experiment called Still the Waters.
Each day, you write continuously for 10–20 minutes.
No editing. No filtering. No rereading.
The purpose is not insight or productivity.
The purpose is to empty the internal dialogue.
Over time, something remarkable can happen:
the surface chatter begins to quiet, and the mind becomes clearer—like a lake after the wind settles.
This practice was inspired by the teachings in The Flowering War by Dr. Oscar Perez, whose work explores Toltec philosophy and the discipline of awareness. I’m deeply grateful for the wisdom that inspired this experiment.
You can learn more about his work on his official website.

To honor the lunar cycle, we’ll begin together on the New Moon in Pisces on March 18th, a beautiful time for reflection, intuition, and inner quiet.

I’ve created a free downloadable guide to help you begin the practice and follow the 28-day journey.

If you’d like to participate, simply download the guide and start writing with us.

A Gentle Invitation

This is not a challenge or a productivity exercise.

It’s simply an invitation to sit with the mind and allow the waters to settle.

And when the waters become still,
something beautiful may appear.
